“You may borrow the swing, but you will never own it.” It is disappointing to read the quote. Even the most intellectual players find it true. How can we borrow better technique more often? Simplicity. Use your imagination correctly to clearly see what you want to do.
Let’s try putting. I am a spot putter. I pick out a spot one to two inches in front of the ball in the direction I want to go. I look at the spot and not the ball during the putting stroke. The ball should roll over the spot. Your goal? Hit the spot with the right speed. This is an excellent way to putt….especially if your stroke has a bit of the shakes.
